The 2016
Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, or Ford Focus: Which is the Best Buy?
Great gas mileage, safety, and comfort. These are just a few
of the things you will find in the 2016 Toyota Corolla. But, at Mount Airy
Toyota we understand that the compact car competition is tough. So here is
a quick comparison of the top three compact cars this year, the 2016 Toyota
Corolla, 2016 Honda Civic, and the 2016 Ford Focus.
Let’s begin with gas mileage. Since all three are compact
cars, the mileage should be good with them all. But when you look at both the
engine sizes and gas expended, a few stand out as best. At first glance, they
all fair about the same with around 30mpg city and 42mpg highway. But, when you
look at the power with which these three are operating it is impressive to see
that the 2016
Toyota Corolla and 2016 Ford Focus are doing the most. With a 1.8-liter,
4-cylinder engine in the Corolla, and a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder in the Focus,
they both manage to operate with the lowest gas mileage and most power.
In regards to safety, the winners once again are the 2016
Toyota Corolla and the 2016 Ford Focus. According to a U.S. News & World
Report ranking, both vehicles score a 9.4 out of 10 in safety, while the 2016
Honda Civic scores a 9.3. Again, all are pretty close, but when you add in the
extra space in the Corolla that the Focus does not have, it seems to come out
on top. Toyota’s ability to provide more room and maintain a high level of
safety is impressive.
For comfort, there is only one. The 2016
Toyota Corolla. The other two just can’t match the 2016 Corolla’s plush
seats, extra legroom, and high-tech Infotainment system. Not to mention its
smooth ride and agile handling.
When it comes down to it, the Toyota Corolla is the better
buy. And whether you are coming from Jonesville or Floyd, VA, Mount Airy
Toyota has a 2016 Toyota Corolla with your name on it.
